According to the jeweler Christopher Shellis, 48, at the House of Borgeize in Birmingham is the world’s most expensive clutch bag.

Inspired by the gates of Buckingham Palace, the sprinkled with 345 diamonds and gold buckles in 18 carats and took 100 days to create.

– Just as the palace gates, conveys its own royal presence.

– Like all Borgezie-creations, the bag is designed to be a real gem and comes with the usual 1000-year warranty – basically, it will never break, says Shellis according to the Daily Mail.

According to the Guinness Book of Records, it is still another bag to take home the title: Mouawad 1001 Nights Diamond Purse. It was sold in 2010 for about 26 million.
